Here are the ones I hear most. If yours isn’t here, just ask.
It’s a conversation, not a sales pitch. We’ll talk about where you are today, what you’d like your money to do for you, and what’s been on your mind. You’ll also learn how I work so you can decide whether it’s a good fit.
Nothing is required for an introductory call. For a planning meeting, it helps to bring recent statements for your investment and retirement accounts, a general idea of your monthly budget, and any insurance policies — but we can always gather those later.
The best way to know is to talk. I work with people at many different stages, and we can discuss whether my services are the right fit for your situation during our first conversation.
Depending on the services you choose, compensation may come from advisory fees or from commissions on certain products. I’ll explain exactly how it works for your accounts before you make any decisions, so there are no surprises.
The Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® designation is awarded by the College for Financial Planning to professionals who complete coursework and an exam focused on retirement planning — including income strategies, Social Security, and pre- and post-retirement needs.
